WHAT KIND OF GAME IS IT?
Byte Swarm takes the readable, build-driven loop of survivors-style games and turns it into fast cyberpunk arcade chaos. You move, survive increasingly hostile waves, collect upgrades, evolve weapons, crack open elite rewards, fight bosses, and build permanent power between runs.
Stages are designed to feel alive rather than like static arenas. Procedural environment systems vary layouts and cyber-tech scenery while moving props, hazards, lighting, weather, and animated machinery keep the background in motion without getting in the way of combat readability.

IS IT A BULLET HELL OR A SURVIVORS-LIKE?
Both descriptions fit parts of it. Byte Swarm uses survivors-style progression and automatic weapon behavior inside dense bullet-hell and swarm encounters, with a strong focus on readable patterns and build variety.
CAN I PLAY ON MOBILE?
The web build supports touch controls and can run as a Progressive Web App on compatible mobile browsers. Desktop browser, keyboard, and controller play are supported too.
IS THE SOURCE AVAILABLE?
Yes. The first-party source browser exposes the files staged for the live site, with direct file downloads and a full source archive.
WHERE DO I REPORT A BUG?
Use the first-party Byte Swarm bug forum. It is deliberately a bug board, not a social network.
